Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Trade, Infrastructure and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 2.39% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Suparma Tbk (JK:SPMA), which rose 21.36% or 22 points to trade at 125 at the close. Kabelindo Murni Tbk (JK:KBLM) added 19.05% or 20 points to end at 125 and Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) was up 18.06% or 28.00 points to 183.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abm Investama Tbk (JK:ABMM), which lost 22.22% or 660 points to trade at 2310 in late trade. Golden Plantation Tbk (JK:GOLL) declined 16.67% or 18.00 points to end at 90.00 and Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) shed 16.36% or 27 points to 138.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 260 to 64 and 31 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.54% or 0.23 to $41.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.66% or 0.31 to hit $46.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.30 to trade at $1150.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.32% to 13940.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.57% to 10064.80.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 95.51.
