Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which rose 5.98% or 24.9 points to trade at 441.2 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 4.68% or 37.5 points to end at 839.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.98% or 25.5 points to 882.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 8.52% or 25.0 points to trade at 268.5 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 0.07% or 0.2 points to end at 267.1 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) gained 0.27% or 0.09 points to 33.91.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 131 to 32 and 3 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.92% or 0.28 to $30.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.61% or 0.74 to hit $29.30 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.33% or 3.60 to trade at $1087.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.8387, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 99.10.
