Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 2.36% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.01% or 70.0 points to trade at 7000.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.67% or 10.0 points to end at 1510.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 0.07% or 40.0 points to 58000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 9.66% or 2280.0 points to trade at 21320.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 7.44% or 920.0 points to end at 11440.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) shed 6.88% or 200.0 points to 2705.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 29 to 4 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.99% or 3.45 to $112.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.08% or 36.00 to hit $3355.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.50 to trade at $1081.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.18% to 3076.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.80% to 799.75.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 99.08.
