On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD102.52 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.04%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD102.61 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD99.95 and resistance at USD102.70.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.04% to trade at USD79.88.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.09% to trade at USD107.77 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.25 a barrel.
