Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.03% or 2.8 points to trade at 273.5 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.62% or 1.50 points to end at 243.60 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.51% or 1.10 points to 216.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs), which lost 3.12% or 7.8 points to trade at 242.3 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.21% or 4.2 points to end at 185.5 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 1.52% or 3.3 points to 213.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 380 to 334 and 66 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.35% or 0.64 to $47.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.41% or 0.71 to hit $50.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.05 to trade at $1223.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.43% to 9.6552, while USD/SEK fell 0.47% to 8.8817.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 99.47.
