Hyundai Rotem Company manufactures and sells railway vehicles, defense systems, and plants and machinery in South Korea and internationally. The company provides railway solutions, such as high-speed trains, regional and intercity, commuter trains and metros, tram and LRVs, locomotives, and passengers cars; power mechanical, inspection, and system engineering; operation and maintenance; signaling; and hydrogen mobility services. It also offers defense solutions, including tanks, wheeled armored vehicles, and future weapon systems. In addition, the company provides logistic automation system, automotive conveyor system, port AGV, and boarding bridge and cargo handling system; hydrogen infrastructure solutions; press equipment, such as servo, mechanical, and stamping press; and steel plant, that includes blast furnace, and cranes, as well as iron making, steel making, rolling mill, and environment and supplement facilities. Hyundai Rotem Company was founded in 1977 and is headquartered in Changwon-si, South Korea.
