ABans Enterprises Limited, together with its subsidiaries, primarily engages in the trading of agricultural commodities and precious metals in India and internationally. It operates through two segments, General Trading of Commodities and Trading in Derivatives. The company trades in agricultural commodities, such as castor seeds, guar-gum, guar seeds, cotton oil seeds, coriander, jeera, etc.; and non-agricultural commodities comprising gold and silver bars, as well as aluminium, lead, etc. It is also involved in trading of debentures, securities, equity, derivatives, and currency derivatives; and trading and manufacturing of precious/semi-precious stone studded gold and silver jewelry products, as well as trading of pearls and precious stones. The company was formerly known as Matru-Smriti Traders Limited and changed its name to ABans Enterprises Limited in March 2016. ABans Enterprises Limited was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Mumbai, India.
