Connor Campbell, Financial Analyst for Spreadex, joined today’s Tip TV Finance Show, to share his thoughts on Fed rates, FTSE, DJIA, and single stocks – TalkTalk, Baratt Developments, EasyJet and SAB Miller.
On US rates, Campbell comments that the last week’s nonfarm payrolls data is supportive of a December rate hike, and this has also led to more sellers creeping in the market.
Dow Jones Industrial Average – Campbell believes that if the equity index prices in a December rate hike properly, there’s no reason why it can’t push beyond the 18k figure.
FTSE 100 – Campbell sees sellers creeping in on the equity index, and further says that it is unlikely to break above 6450 area.
Talk Talk Telecom Group Plc (L:TALK) – The stock could see a brief bounce back if the results this week come above expectations.
Baratt Developments – Could bounce from the 570 mark, good results.
EasyJet PLC (L:EZJ) – Has not broke above 18 GBP yet, but sees room to go higher.
SABMiller PLC (L:SAB) – Deadline for the deal tomorrow, no deal will see the stock haemorrhaging.
