Published 27/09/2016, 06:57

Banking woes in Germany, Algeria meeting, Presidential debate and upcoming Q3 earnings are some of the major events that could influence the financial markets over the next few weeks.

However, it is the Presidential debate in US and third quarter corporate earnings that are likely to overshadow other events/developments. Richard Hunter, Head of Research at Wilson King Investments believes third quarter earnings would provide a more accurate picture of whether or not the Brexit is hurting the business activity. Meanwhile, presidential debate, as per Tip TV’s Zak Mir, could push up volatility, especially if Trump gains an upper hand. Tip TV’s Nick Batsford also discusses most popular in business and finance, Oanda sentiment and broker forecasts. The panel on today’s opening segment clearly points to market moving factors amid all the noise from across the globe.
