Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 3.33% or 8.3 points to trade at 257.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.16% or 4.2 points to end at 367.7 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 0.65% or 2.9 points to 445.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.04% or 36.5 points to trade at 867.0 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.30% or 5.90 points to end at 250.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 1.99% or 3.5 points to 172.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 61 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.33% or 0.16 to $48.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.38% or 0.19 to hit $50.16 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.11% or 14.85 to trade at $1353.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6767, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 95.64.
