Electric automaker, XPeng (NYSE:XPEV) announced Friday that the Chinese car company had delivered 20,041 Smart EVs in November, representing a 245% increase over the same time last year.
The announcement also marks the company’s second consecutive month of 20,000 or more deliveries.
XPeng has seen continuous monthly growth in vehicle deliveries for the last 10 months, culminating in a year-to-date tally of 121,486 units, eclipsing the total deliveries achieved in the entire year of 2022.
In November, The XPeng G6 achieved a delivery milestone of 8,750 units, maintaining its position as the leading electric SUV model within the RMB200,000-250,000 price range.
During Auto Guangzhou 2023 on November 17, 2023, XPeng unveiled the X9, its latest flagship model constructed on the SEPA2.0 architecture. With presale prices starting at RMB388,000, the X9 stands as a strategic product leveraging the SEPA2.0 foundation, showcasing XPeng's comprehensive suite of state-of-the-art smart EV technologies.
XPeng enhanced the driving experience for G9, G6, and P7i owners on November 28, 2023, with an advanced Over-The-Air (OTA) update via its intelligent cockpit operating system, Xmart OS 4.4.0.
The OTA update covered XPeng's next-generation XNGP ADAS, capable of independent operation in urban areas without relying on HD map coverage. This groundbreaking feature is now accessible in over 20 cities throughout China, representing a significant advancement in XNGP ADAS technology and positioning XPeng at the forefront of the industry.
Shares of XPEV are down 5.69% in early trading on Friday.
