Investing.com – Turkey equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Investments, Non-Metal Mineral Products and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 1.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the BIST 100 were Konya Cimento (IS:KONYA), which rose 12.89% or 43.50 points to trade at 381.00 at the close. Emlak Konut Gmyo (IS:EKGYO) added 11.34% or 0.270 points to end at 2.650 and Celebi (IS:CLEBI) was up 5.41% or 1.60 points to 31.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tat Konserve (IS:TATGD), which lost 3.86% or 0.280 points to trade at 6.970 in late trade. Fenerbahce Futbol (IS:FENER) declined 2.94% or 1.05 points to end at 34.70 and Koza Altin (IS:KOZAL) shed 1.90% or 0.50 points to 25.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 306 to 102 and 7 ended unchanged on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold for August delivery was down 0.57% or 6.70 to $1179.10 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.75% or 0.45 to hit $60.45 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.45% or 0.28 to trade at $63.66 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.09% to 2.7333, while EUR/TRY fell 0.49% to 3.0724.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 95.30.
