Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs), which rose 0.14% or 0.3 points to trade at 218.3 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) fell 0.05% or 0.10 points to end at 195.20 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 0.05% or 0.1 points to 194.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 4.21% or 4.50 points to trade at 102.50 in late trade. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 2.01% or 2.8 points to end at 136.2 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) shed 1.64% or 1.62 points to 97.38.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 383 to 197 and 67 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.81% or 1.30 to $45.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.43% or 1.16 to hit $46.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.26% or 3.55 to trade at $1341.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.09% to 9.5920, while USD/SEK fell 0.04% to 8.5482.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 95.46.
