Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.35% or 0.40 points to trade at 30.13 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 1.20% or 1.76 points to end at 148.56 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.38% or 0.15 points to 39.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which lost 2.45% or 1.52 points to trade at 60.48 in late trade. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.73% or 10.0 points to end at 568.0 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) shed 1.38% or 3.9 points to 277.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 441 to 266 and 81 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.28% or 1.03 to $46.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.03% or 0.97 to hit $48.76 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.71 to trade at $1223.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 9.6390, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 8.4489.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 95.65.
