Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 2.41% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 2.11% or 0.46 points to trade at 22.27 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 0.89% or 2.20 points to end at 244.00 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 0.20% or 0.60 points to 298.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which lost 5.89% or 4.60 points to trade at 73.40 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 5.15% or 4.80 points to end at 88.40 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 4.59% or 15.10 points to 313.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 572 to 212 and 71 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.35% or 0.24 to $68.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.33% or 0.24 to hit $72.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 18.00 to trade at $2,599.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.43% to 11.60, while USD/SEK rose 0.96% to 10.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 106.07.
