Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.51% or 0.09 points to trade at 5.80 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.45% or 2.70 points to end at 185.80 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.38% or 3.80 points to 279.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 5.69% or 2.90 points to trade at 48.20 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 4.26% or 9.50 points to end at 213.30 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 3.41% or 3.50 points to 97.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 520 to 236 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.34% or 0.27 to $78.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.27% or 0.22 to hit $82.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.82% or 42.95 to trade at $2,311.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.61% to 11.27, while USD/SEK rose 1.11% to 10.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 104.71.
