Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which fell 0.05% or 0.02 points to trade at 37.90 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) fell 0.19% or 0.40 points to end at 212.40 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 0.19% or 0.20 points to 105.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which lost 4.04% or 2.13 points to trade at 50.62 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.35% or 4.4 points to end at 182.9 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) shed 2.34% or 4.9 points to 204.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 570 to 192 and 59 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.69% or 0.39 to $57.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.72% or 0.46 to hit $63.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.78 to trade at $1285.48 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.33% to 9.7497, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 8.3732.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 94.44.
