Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.17% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 4.95% or 4.30 points to trade at 91.20 at the close. Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) added 0.72% or 8.00 points to end at 1,118.00 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.26% or 0.90 points to 349.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 3.87% or 1.80 points to trade at 44.70 in late trade. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.76% or 0.23 points to end at 5.96 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) shed 3.23% or 0.79 points to 23.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 435 to 353 and 74 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.20% or 0.99 to $81.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.28% or 1.10 to hit $84.65 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.15 to trade at $2,369.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 11.41, while USD/SEK fell 0.27% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.82.
