Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 0.79% or 2.4 points to trade at 304.6 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.63% or 0.6 points to end at 96.1 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 0.25% or 0.3 points to 126.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which lost 3.97% or 5.97 points to trade at 144.28 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 2.91% or 0.24 points to end at 8.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) shed 1.95% or 2.0 points to 100.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 300 to 296 and 69 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.76% or 1.12 to $62.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.30% or 0.89 to hit $67.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 7.30 to trade at $1335.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.06% to 10.2980, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 8.3907.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 89.86.
