Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 1.86% or 25.50 points to trade at 1,397.50 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.81% or 3.50 points to end at 194.30 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 0.91% or 1.00 points to 111.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 3.87% or 13.40 points to trade at 332.80 in late trade. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 3.14% or 3.30 points to end at 101.70 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) shed 3.11% or 0.68 points to 21.18.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 423 to 335 and 88 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.85% or 2.06 to $70.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.49% or 1.88 to hit $73.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 11.50 to trade at $2,694.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.77% to 11.62, while USD/SEK rose 1.79% to 10.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 105.05.
