Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 0.60% or 0.17 points to trade at 28.51 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 0.23% or 0.60 points to end at 264.20 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 0.10% or 0.20 points to 201.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which lost 5.01% or 1.23 points to trade at 23.32 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 3.30% or 1.60 points to end at 45.40 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) shed 3.25% or 4.10 points to 122.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 468 to 315 and 75 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.14% or 0.11 to $80.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.09% or 0.08 to hit $84.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.75% or 18.20 to trade at $2,438.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.58% to 11.54, while USD/SEK rose 0.89% to 10.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 103.86.
