Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 0.95% or 0.42 points to trade at 44.40 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.29% or 0.5 points to end at 170.7 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 0.29% or 0.5 points to 173.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which lost 1.46% or 0.82 points to trade at 55.23 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.30% or 14.0 points to end at 1066.0 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 1.21% or 2.90 points to 237.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 315 to 292 and 63 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.21% or 0.12 to $58.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.18% or 0.12 to hit $65.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 7.90 to trade at $1278.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.56% to 9.8946, while USD/SEK fell 0.31% to 8.3542.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 92.98.
