Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Telecoms and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which rose 7.01% or 7.15 points to trade at 109.20 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) added 1.65% or 0.80 points to end at 46.20 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was up 1.60% or 1.40 points to 87.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb), which lost 3.09% or 5.40 points to trade at 168.00 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 3.04% or 6.10 points to end at 194.50 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) shed 1.63% or 0.10 points to 6.22.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 443 to 318 and 95 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.11% or 1.68 to $81.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.62% or 1.36 to hit $85.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 1.00 to trade at $2,468.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 11.53, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 103.51.
