Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.94% or 0.28 points to trade at 6.06 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 4.03% or 0.96 points to end at 24.76 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was up 1.02% or 0.90 points to 86.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which lost 2.14% or 3.30 points to trade at 151.00 in late trade. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) declined 2.01% or 2.60 points to end at 126.50 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) shed 1.94% or 5.00 points to 252.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 381 to 372 and 94 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.27% or 0.23 to $84.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.16% or 0.14 to hit $87.57 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.05% or 24.90 to trade at $2,394.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.08% to 11.35, while USD/SEK fell 0.18% to 10.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 104.63.
