Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 3.54% or 7.70 points to trade at 223.60 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 2.16% or 34.00 points to end at 1,605.50 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.64% or 9.60 points to 595.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 2.73% or 1.50 points to trade at 54.10 in late trade. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) declined 2.55% or 5.50 points to end at 209.80 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) shed 1.58% or 2.45 points to 152.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 471 to 298 and 76 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.92% or 2.67 to $70.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.63% or 2.60 to hit $74.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 23.90 to trade at $2,683.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.61% to 11.38, while USD/SEK rose 1.24% to 10.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 101.00.
