Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.34% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 2.33% or 0.14 points to trade at 6.09 at the close. Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) added 1.52% or 4.20 points to end at 277.20 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 1.03% or 1.00 points to 100.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Evolution AB (ST:EVOG), which lost 2.23% or 22.00 points to trade at 966.40 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 1.78% or 1.50 points to end at 83.80 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 1.75% or 3.60 points to 202.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 515 to 282 and 56 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.89% or 0.65 to $73.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.75% or 0.57 to hit $76.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 15.85 to trade at $2,428.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.41% to 11.50, while USD/SEK fell 0.16% to 10.53.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 102.81.
