Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 2.03% or 0.90 points to trade at 43.20 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 1.15% or 0.05 points to end at 4.53 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 0.78% or 1.40 points to 181.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which lost 1.52% or 9.20 points to trade at 595.40 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 0.98% or 0.70 points to end at 73.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) shed 0.86% or 12.50 points to 1,446.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 425 to 347 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.15% or 0.81 to $71.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.85% or 0.63 to hit $74.42 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 18.29 to trade at $2,613.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.46, while USD/SEK rose 0.47% to 11.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 108.04.
