Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.18% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 8.91% or 19.60 points to trade at 239.60 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 1.70% or 5.70 points to end at 341.00 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.33% or 1.90 points to 141.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which lost 2.64% or 2.95 points to trade at 108.60 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.73% or 0.90 points to end at 50.10 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) shed 1.63% or 0.52 points to 31.39.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 421 to 315 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.67% or 1.87 to $71.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.46% or 1.83 to hit $76.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 14.15 to trade at $2,753.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.20% to 11.39, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 10.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.89.
