Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which rose 0.88% or 0.90 points to trade at 103.10 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 0.73% or 0.80 points to end at 110.60 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.61% or 0.60 points to 95.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 4.02% or 0.26 points to trade at 6.09 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 3.71% or 1.90 points to end at 48.60 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) shed 1.54% or 3.70 points to 236.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 415 to 355 and 74 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.11% or 0.81 to $72.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.87% or 0.67 to hit $76.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 4.35 to trade at $2,546.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 11.36, while USD/SEK rose 0.11% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 101.08.
