Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.12% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 2.13% or 5.00 points to trade at 240.00 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 1.49% or 4.70 points to end at 319.50 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was up 0.88% or 1.90 points to 218.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 4.53% or 2.30 points to trade at 47.90 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 4.35% or 7.90 points to end at 172.70 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) shed 4.13% or 0.89 points to 20.67.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 512 to 268 and 73 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.84% or 1.90 to $68.82 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.74% or 1.95 to hit $72.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.68% or 43.10 to trade at $2,613.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 11.58, while USD/SEK fell 0.28% to 10.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 106.25.
