Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.25% or 2.75 points to trade at 87.40 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) added 2.06% or 3.0 points to end at 148.7 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was up 1.87% or 4.7 points to 255.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which lost 1.18% or 1.90 points to trade at 158.90 in late trade. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 0.99% or 0.39 points to end at 39.03 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 0.83% or 0.60 points to 71.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 314 to 282 and 74 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.76% or 0.80 to $44.54 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.47% or 0.69 to hit $46.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.57% or 7.45 to trade at $1300.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.52% to 9.9528, while USD/SEK rose 0.49% to 8.9665.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 97.23.
