Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.97% or 4.40 points to trade at 115.20 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 2.15% or 4.00 points to end at 189.90 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.77% or 2.70 points to 155.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 2.13% or 0.57 points to trade at 26.16 in late trade. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) declined 1.37% or 2.5 points to end at 179.8 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) shed 0.90% or 2.4 points to 264.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 298 to 281 and 68 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.76% or 0.84 to $46.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.66% or 0.83 to hit $49.32 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1326.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.4741, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 8.4756.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.65.
