Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 1.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 6.81% or 0.42 points to trade at 6.62 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 3.81% or 3.30 points to end at 88.90 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) was up 3.46% or 1.50 points to 44.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which lost 1.31% or 2.00 points to trade at 151.00 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) declined 0.03% or 0.02 points to end at 67.92 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) gained 0.08% or 0.20 points to 265.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 456 to 305 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.46% or 0.38 to $82.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.33% or 0.28 to hit $85.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.86% or 44.35 to trade at $2,424.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.16% to 11.40, while USD/SEK fell 0.52% to 10.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 104.09.
