Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.86%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 3.46% or 3.00 points to trade at 88.60 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.32% or 8.20 points to end at 254.90 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 3.27% or 0.20 points to 6.31 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which lost 0.66% or 11.50 points to trade at 1,733.50 in late trade. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) declined 0.29% or 0.35 points to end at 119.55 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 0.07% or 0.20 points to 298.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 397 to 357 and 81 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.89% or 0.70 to $77.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.37% or 0.30 to hit $80.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.99% or 24.80 to trade at $2,483.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.16% to 11.51, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.02% to 10.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 102.32.
