Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 5.08% or 2.50 points to trade at 52.60 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 5.02% or 3.70 points to end at 76.40 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) was up 2.00% or 19.60 points to 997.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which lost 2.88% or 0.65 points to trade at 21.95 in late trade. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) declined 2.27% or 5.50 points to end at 236.70 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 0.76% or 2.40 points to 311.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 444 to 323 and 73 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.15% or 0.10 to $68.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.19% or 0.14 to hit $72.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 6.60 to trade at $2,579.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 11.57, while USD/SEK fell 0.15% to 10.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.49.
