Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 3.75% or 2.74 points to trade at 75.86 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 2.26% or 16.2 points to end at 732.9 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 1.98% or 1.8 points to 91.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 1.54% or 0.51 points to trade at 32.66 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.26% or 2.54 points to end at 198.26 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) shed 0.86% or 1.4 points to 167.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 326 to 298 and 53 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 6.86% or 3.75 to $50.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 6.36% or 3.98 to hit $58.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 4.80 to trade at $1223.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.06% to 10.3032, while USD/SEK rose 0.55% to 9.0901.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.835.
