Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 3.78% or 8.80 points to trade at 241.80 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 2.97% or 0.63 points to end at 21.81 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 2.05% or 6.80 points to 339.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which lost 2.76% or 2.80 points to trade at 98.80 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.67% or 3.30 points to end at 191.10 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) shed 1.20% or 4.00 points to 328.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 419 to 384 and 61 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.03% or 2.13 to $68.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.69% or 1.99 to hit $71.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.74% or 73.90 to trade at $2,620.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.30% to 11.56, while USD/SEK rose 0.29% to 10.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 105.42.
