Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 7.92% or 0.43 points to trade at 5.82 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 3.66% or 0.94 points to end at 26.64 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) was up 3.21% or 4.05 points to 130.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 0.39% or 0.30 points to trade at 87.50 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 0.32% or 0.50 points to end at 156.10 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) shed 0.20% or 0.40 points to 198.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 420 to 358 and 87 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.75% or 1.43 to $82.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.62% or 1.38 to hit $86.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.90 to trade at $2,337.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.58% to 11.40, while USD/SEK rose 0.37% to 10.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 105.59.
