Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.01% or 0.24 points to trade at 6.20 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 3.39% or 8.70 points to end at 265.70 and Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) was up 1.97% or 22.00 points to 1,140.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 3.18% or 1.40 points to trade at 43.30 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 1.86% or 1.70 points to end at 89.50 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) shed 0.90% or 4.10 points to 451.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 413 to 355 and 75 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.27% or 1.03 to $82.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.94% or 0.80 to hit $85.46 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 18.20 to trade at $2,386.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.02% to 11.41, while USD/SEK fell 0.08% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.73.
