Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.14% or 26.5 points to trade at 1266.0 at the close. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 1.52% or 2.38 points to end at 158.88 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.36% or 4.8 points to 357.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 9.72% or 0.66 points to trade at 6.17 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 0.86% or 1.2 points to end at 138.1 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 0.66% or 0.6 points to 84.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 304 to 298 and 66 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.48% or 0.34 to $70.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.51% or 0.40 to hit $78.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.99% or 26.20 to trade at $1292.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.27% to 10.2803, while USD/SEK rose 0.31% to 8.6694.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.52% at 93.03.
