Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 4.64% or 0.24 points to trade at 5.39 at the close. Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) added 1.66% or 0.42 points to end at 25.70 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was up 1.57% or 1.90 points to 119.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 1.25% or 0.60 points to trade at 44.90 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 1.25% or 1.10 points to end at 87.00 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 1.03% or 1.80 points to 167.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 402 to 368 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.16% or 0.13 to $81.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.18% or 0.15 to hit $85.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.40 to trade at $2,341.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 11.36, while USD/SEK fell 0.18% to 10.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 105.54.
