Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 4.88% or 1.17 points to trade at 25.17 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 3.48% or 3.00 points to end at 90.50 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 2.10% or 4.00 points to 194.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 15.46% or 0.87 points to trade at 4.75 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.07% or 3.70 points to end at 341.80 and Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) shed 0.95% or 1.20 points to 125.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 416 to 349 and 86 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.20% or 0.16 to $80.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $84.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 17.40 to trade at $2,313.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.35% to 11.30, while USD/SEK rose 0.62% to 10.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 105.68.
