Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.62% or 2.60 points to trade at 100.90 at the close. SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) added 2.53% or 5.70 points to end at 229.20 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 2.48% or 0.18 points to 7.47 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which lost 5.60% or 1.70 points to trade at 28.66 in late trade. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 1.48% or 0.80 points to end at 53.30 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 1.02% or 3.20 points to 310.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 407 to 371 and 77 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.36% or 0.25 to $70.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.30% or 0.22 to hit $73.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 18.45 to trade at $2,671.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.22% to 11.33, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.03% to 10.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 101.27.
