Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.96% or 2.04 points to trade at 70.94 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) added 2.69% or 4.20 points to end at 160.20 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.80% or 1.60 points to 90.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 3.38% or 0.22 points to trade at 6.32 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.60% or 5.60 points to end at 345.20 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) shed 1.39% or 1.20 points to 86.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 448 to 344 and 68 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.19% or 0.96 to $79.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.08% or 0.92 to hit $83.93 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.47% or 35.65 to trade at $2,464.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 11.56, while USD/SEK rose 0.23% to 10.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 104.08.
