Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.24% or 0.72 points to trade at 17.69 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 2.05% or 1.08 points to end at 53.73 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.98% or 3.80 points to 195.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which lost 0.63% or 1.4 points to trade at 219.6 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 0.54% or 1.0 points to end at 185.0 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 0.47% or 0.50 points to 104.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 304 to 296 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.43% or 0.83 to $57.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.73% or 1.12 to hit $63.57 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.30 to trade at $1239.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 1.06% to 9.9036, while USD/SEK fell 0.60% to 8.4483.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.18.
