Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 1.35% or 3.20 points to trade at 240.90 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 1.10% or 0.07 points to end at 6.28 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.06% or 3.40 points to 323.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 3.11% or 5.20 points to trade at 161.80 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.04% or 6.40 points to end at 307.60 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) shed 0.94% or 10.00 points to 1,055.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 414 to 326 and 94 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.10% or 0.83 to $74.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.11% or 0.87 to hit $77.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 12.55 to trade at $2,540.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.10% to 11.34, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 10.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 100.97.
