Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 9.90% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.19 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) added 1.59% or 0.70 points to end at 46.70 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.21% or 20.50 points to 1,718.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Evolution AB (ST:EVOG), which lost 1.26% or 13.00 points to trade at 1,020.00 in late trade. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) declined 1.09% or 6.40 points to end at 583.40 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) shed 0.88% or 0.25 points to 28.29.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 395 to 370 and 86 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.65% or 1.27 to $75.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.51% or 1.21 to hit $79.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 6.55 to trade at $2,421.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.15% to 11.72, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 10.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 104.38.
