Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 5.33% or 81 points to trade at 1600 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 4.62% or 2850 points to end at 64500 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 3.79% or 540 points to 14800 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 1.71% or 630 points to trade at 36220 in late trade. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) declined 1.12% or 8.5 points to end at 748.5 and Avner L (TA:AVNRp) shed 0.91% or 2.1 points to 229.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 203 to 136 and 108 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.93% or 0.45 to $47.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.46% or 0.71 to hit $48.01 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.40% or 4.95 to trade at $1247.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.48% to 3.8681, while EUR/ILS fell 0.72% to 4.3308.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.42.
