Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.99%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 9.60% or 4.10 points to trade at 46.80 at the close. Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 3.00% or 0.80 points to end at 27.50 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) was up 2.50% or 0.70 points to 28.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which lost 10.36% or 1.75 points to trade at 15.15 in late trade. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) declined 7.11% or 0.70 points to end at 9.15 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) shed 5.22% or 0.70 points to 12.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 130 to 24 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.45% or 0.22 to $48.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $48.80 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1252.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.04% to 4.2040, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 95.29.
