Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010), which rose 9.84% or 2.50 points to trade at 27.90 at the close. Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) added 8.17% or 3.30 points to end at 43.70 and National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) was up 4.33% or 2.25 points to 54.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which lost 3.07% or 0.90 points to trade at 28.40 in late trade. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) declined 2.74% or 3.25 points to end at 115.50 and Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) shed 2.70% or 0.65 points to 23.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 115 to 43 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.29% or 0.62 to $47.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.92% or 0.47 to hit $50.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 10.95 to trade at $1259.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.89% to 4.0877, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.89% at 98.70.
